We are looking for a social worker for a day center in Madrid dedicated to caring for older adults. The primary responsibility is to care for users' health and well-being, ensuring the center operates smoothly on a daily basis. Comprehensive and personalized support is provided, tailored to each individual, to foster their autonomy and quality of life within the center environment.
Responsibilities include planning, evaluating, and coordinating the center's social services, as well as managing administrative processes related to care delivery. Collaboration with the multidisciplinary team is required to ensure coordinated socio-healthcare support, and knowledge of community resources is necessary to refer or complement assistance as needed.
Projects and activities must be developed to promote social participation, active aging, and emotional well-being. Maintaining open and effective communication with users and their families is essential, acting as a liaison. The goal is to contribute to a safe and welcoming environment that meets the needs of those served, in accordance with established protocols.
University degree in Social Work. A Master's degree or specialized course in management of social service centers is required. Prior experience in similar roles within the socio-healthcare sector or in caring for older adults will be valued.
