




Position Summary: We are seeking a Collaborative Professor of Basic Biomedical Sciences to deliver practical teaching, develop teaching materials, design methodology, and assess students, promoting academic innovation. Key Responsibilities: 1. Deliver practical teaching in Biochemistry, Microbiology, and Cell Biology. 2. Promote and participate in university extension and innovation activities. 3. Establish a positive atmosphere for communication and interaction in the classroom. The Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences requires the incorporation of a Collaborative Professor of Basic Biomedical Sciences (Practical Teaching). ##### **Main Responsibilities:** * Deliver practical teaching in several courses (6 ECTS each), during the first semester of the academic year, 4 hours per week per course, as required by the degree program. * Teaching content covers the study and application of knowledge in the courses Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, Microbiology and Infectious Diseases, and Cell Biology. * Develop teaching materials. * Prepare specific contents of the teaching guide. * Design pedagogical methodology. * Plan, coordinate, supervise, guide, and deliver classes, and carry out other teaching activities, fostering collaborative learning. * Systematically assess students’ knowledge. * Maintain and continuously update expertise in the discipline, including content and didactic and pedagogical strategies. * Promote and participate in the development of university extension activities. * Actively participate in innovation initiatives contributing to the improvement of quality and academic excellence. * Establish a positive atmosphere conducive to communication and interaction in the classroom. * Conduct tutorials and student follow-up as required. ##### **Requirements:** * Doctorate holder with teaching experience. * Accreditation and sexenios are valued. * Availability starting from the 2026\-2027\ academic year.
