Group Singing Workshop

La Fábrica de la Voz invites you to join our group singing workshop every Friday. We encourage you to join regardless of your skill level: beginners will learn from more advanced participants, who in turn will use this space to address questions and expand their vocal tools. The workshop takes place twice a week—you may attend either session: Mondays, 7:30–10:00 PM Fridays, 6:00–8:30 PM The workshop is divided into two parts: First hour: Vocal Technique. We will cover: * Anatomy of the vocal apparatus * Gestural warm-up – Vocal warm-up * Vocal effects and "flaws" * Vocal care and prevention of vocal fatigue Second part (one and a half hours): Singing Workshop. Each participant selects a song to perform individually. All attendees participate by observing and sharing feedback on each person’s work. We recommend choosing a song in a language you master—and, as far as possible, one whose lyrics you know by heart (so we can focus on technique and interpretation rather than memorization). Once you’ve chosen your song, find an instrumental track you feel comfortable with. You can locate these on YouTube or Spotify (usually by adding the word “karaoke”) and download them as MP3 files. Please add your name before the song title to facilitate identification ;) The singing workshop is coordinated by Elena Vargas, singer, composer, and actress—founder of Laboratorio de la Voz (Quito), La Fábrica de la Voz, and Suena Tetuán (Madrid)—with over 15 years’ experience as a vocal instructor and three album releases. Instructors: Elena Vargas and Britani Rosales. CONTRIBUTION: To sustain our activities and maintain our space, we request a contribution from participants. \- First session \(2 hrs 30 min\): €33\* \- Biweekly pass \(2 sessions/month\): €60\* \- Monthly pass \(3, 4, or 5 sessions depending on the month\): €100\* \- Quarterly pass: €250 Passes are paid during the first class of each month.
