Summary: As Leather Development & Purchasing Manager, you will negotiate prices, industrialize, and countertype leather articles, serving as the main leather referent for Leather Goods production. As **Leather Development \& Purchasing Manager** , you will negotiate best leather prices, industrialize leathers, countertype main articles. This position is the main leather referent for Leather Goods leather articles in production. **Your role will be:** * Industrial development according to Loewe’s quality requirements * Coordination with Leather Goods Artisans/Modelists * Testing process management and Master validation according to the Loewe’s Quality standards * PLM information system upload with materials technical characteristics * Time management of the industrial development in order to meet Production deadlines * Negotiation with suppliers: business terms and conditions, LVMH’s contractual requirements, prices, production lead times and development lead times * Proactive risk analysis set up and quality problem solving with suppliers * Countertypeing of materials management * Supplier Creation Requirements \& documents fill out ### **Profile** **What is important for the role:** * At least 8 years’ experience in similar positions managing suppliers and leather development * Deep technical knowledge about leather * Advanced Spanish and English skills (Italian and/or French will be a plus) * Advanced knowledge of Excel (PLM software will be a plus) ### **Additional information** About us: Created in Spain in 1846, LOEWE approaches over 180 years as one of the world’s major luxury houses.
