With delivery centers in Madrid, Lisbon and Porto, we have over 200 employees supporting BNPP PF entities worldwide. Our portfolio includes Applications Management, IT Risks \& Cybersecurity, Platforms Management, Data Analytics \& AI, and Operations. **MISSION** As a Kafka Developer you will help build and operate our strategic Event Stream platform based on Kafka, Kafka Connect, ELK and IBM IDR. You’ll own day‑to‑day administration, drive onboarding projects, and design end‑to‑end data‑streaming solutions that align with business use cases across a global footprint. **WHAT YOU’LL DO** * Own relationships with infrastructure providers and software vendors to implement new Kafka solutions. * Define best practices for streaming concepts and design appropriate architectures. * Build monitoring, observability tools and dashboards to ensure cluster health. * Develop automation scripts and CI/CD pipelines for SLA alerting and releases. * Support application teams, tune clusters for high availability, performance and scalability, and provide technical advisory. **WHAT YOU’LL BRING** * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field. * Hands‑on experience with Kafka components and Kafka Connect (Source \& Sink). * Knowledge of integration tools (IBM IDR, MirrorMaker, Apigee, REST Proxy Producer). * Strong CI/CD skills (Git, Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform) and Agile mindset. * Problem‑solving, communication, collaboration and proactive attitude. * Fluent English (B2\+); Spanish or French a plus; other European languages valued. **OUR PERKS** * Training programs, career plans and internal mobility across Spain, Portugal and the wider Group. * Diversity \& Inclusion Committee and employee communities (PRIDE, We Generations, MixCity). * Corporate volunteering programme (1 Million Hours 2 Help). * Flexible compensation plan. * Hybrid telecommuting model (50% remote). * 31 vacation days per year. * Access to the Diversity, equality and inclusion BNP Paribas initiative. **ABOUT BNP PARIBAS** We are BNP Paribas, a European banking leader active in 64 countries with over 178 000 professionals.
