Teamwork, empathy, and proactivity in a supportive environment ### **Description** At **AMÁS Foundation**, our mission is to contribute to enabling each individual with intellectual disabilities—and their families—to develop their life project, as well as to promote their full citizenship and social inclusion, thereby helping build a fairer and more solidarity-based society. We are looking for a Direct Care Professional holding either a Vocational Training qualification or a Professional Certification as a **Technician in Care for Dependent Persons**, or Vocational Training in **Nursing Assistant Technician**, to fill the position of **SUPPORT PROFESSIONAL\-CAREGIVER** at our Padre Zurita Inclusion and Opportunities Center located in Alcorcón, where individuals with intellectual disabilities, significant support needs, and/or behavioral disorders reside. **SCHEDULE: Monday to Friday, from 09:15 to 16:15 hours; rotating weekends according to the work calendar (approximately one weekend every three weeks).** **FULL-TIME POSITION** **TEMPORARY CONTRACT (substitution for sick leave, approximately one month)** **START DATE: First week of December** Salary according to the Collective Agreement for Centers and Services for People with Disabilities (€1,224 gross/month, 14 payments per year) If you wish to join a social initiative, this is your opportunity!! We’re waiting for you! ### **Minimum Requirements** Vocational Training/Professional Certification as Technician in Care for Dependent Persons or Vocational Training as Nursing Assistant Technician. **ADDITIONAL TRAINING** * Knowledge of methodologies: Positive Behavioral Support, Active Support, etc. * Knowledge of communication: Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) systems. * Understanding of profiles of individuals with high support needs.
