Fishing is boring.) **The Role** We’re looking for an experienced front end engineer to expand our team by being one of our first developers in Barcelona. We value work/life balance. We’re intentional and focused while we are on the job, but also make sure people get the time they need to recharge. **Here’s the kind of thing you’d be doing:** * Improve our front end engineering and architecture * Build customer management interfaces and administration tools. * Integrate with real time web video providers and adding features to our web based video meeting space. * Improve our understanding of how our clients use our features through data. * Helping clients by troubleshooting and resolving issues. * Collaborate with product teams to translate UI design wireframes into elegant code. * Participate in code review processes. * Attend a daily 15\- 30 minute video meeting, and one evening meeting per week, with an international development team in the americas \& australiasia. * Share your experience with the team on best practices and new libraries. * Write, discuss, and analyse code architecture, and not just rely on AI tooling. **Skills, Qualifications \& Requirements** There are a few things that are absolutely required for the role: * 5\+ years of professional experience in a similar role * Significant experience with front\-end web frameworks, especially React * While this is a mostly remote role, you’re in Barcelona, or close enough that getting together in person is easy, so that we can regularly collaborate face to face regularly. * Excellent written and verbal english, as the team is mostly english speaking The following are desired, and help you contribute more to our team: * Demonstrable ability to translate a designer's vision into code * Familiarity with GraphQL * Strong command of the latest HTML and CSS tools and trends * Experience implementing responsive design * Experience dealing with cross\-browser issues * Enjoy working closely in a team to learn from each other, even though remote * An eye for and interest in visual elegance and beauty * Tell us about your experience with resgresDB **One more thing** Hey, we don’t want AI submissions.
