Warehouse Assistant (Male or Female)

Description

We are seeking personnel to work in a warehouse, performing tasks related to order preparation and goods management. The main responsibility involves picking orders, guided by devices such as PDAs or handheld terminals indicating product locations. Once items are selected, they are securely and neatly placed onto pallets, and loads are secured with strapping to prevent damage during transit. An electric pallet truck is also used to move goods within the warehouse. The full-time shift is eight hours long and performed while standing; therefore, good physical endurance is required. The environment is dynamic, and technology is consistently utilized to streamline operations and reduce errors. Prior experience and the ability to adapt to both the technical and physical demands of the role are highly valued. No specific formal training is required. **Several allowances are offered:** holidays and Sundays at €5.00/hour; fruit and vegetables at €0.67/hour; frozen goods at €2.50/hour; and night work (starting from 22:00\) at €12.50/hour if the shift is extended. The base salary is €10.00 gross per hour. Regular working hours follow morning or afternoon shifts, Monday through Friday, with temporary contracts renewable weekly or biweekly. At least one year of verifiable prior experience as a warehouse assistant (male or female), specifically in picking tasks using guided systems such as PDAs, earpieces, or handheld terminals, is required. Proficiency in operating an electric pallet truck, as well as in physically demanding tasks such as strapping and palletizing, is essential. Candidates must reside in Elche or its surrounding areas and possess the physical capacity to perform eight-hour shifts while standing. No specific academic qualifications are required.
