Our top priority is **providing our people with the best tools to build the future they envision**, supporting them in **building a solid career within an international, industrialized, and innovative environment.** We are seeking a **PHP Technical Lead** with **at least five years of experience developing software for the French public sector**, **fluent French language skills**, strong passion for technology, and interest in joining a highly technical talent ecosystem within a multicultural setting and an active, dynamic, open-minded culture. **What will be your role?** ---------------------- As a PHP Technical Lead, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and implementing scalable, high-quality web applications. You will be responsible for defining and leading technical solutions, ensuring compliance with development standards, code quality, and proper application integration. You will work in an agile and international environment, closely collaborating with multidisciplinary teams—including product owners, architects, QA engineers, and other developers—to foster effective communication and continuous improvement. Additionally, you will actively contribute to defining and evolving software architecture, proposing improvements, identifying optimization opportunities, and promoting technological innovation. Your role will also involve mentoring other developers to support team growth, conducting code reviews, and implementing processes that ensure solution quality, efficiency, and maintainability. You will actively contribute to the evolution of development, continuous integration, and deployment processes, ensuring agile delivery aligned with business objectives. **Your responsibilities** -------------- * **Software development and maintenance**: Build and maintain **high-quality software applications** using **PHP** and **Symfony**. Participate in developing the most complex features. * **Collaboration**: Work closely with **cross-functional teams**, including product managers, designers, and other engineers, to deliver **robust software solutions**. * **Code review**: Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure **quality**, **performance**, and **security**. Oversee team-developed implementations. Promote **best practices and development processes**. * **Contribute to industrialization and continuous improvement of development processes**, driving continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) practices, reuse of common components, and internal collaboration in solution development. * **Continuous improvement**: Stay up to date with the **latest industry trends and technologies** to continuously enhance software engineering practices. Propose improvements in application development. * **Conduct technology watch and drive adoption of new technologies, tools, and methodologies** that add value to projects and the team. * **Advise and support Product Owners in assessing technical challenges and impacts**, facilitating decision-making and definition of viable, scalable solutions. * **Technical leadership**: Provide guidance and mentorship to developers, ensuring best practices in coding and design. Help the team identify pending work in a project and promote best practices. **Your profile** ------------- * Minimum 5 years of experience working on large-scale PHP projects. * Solid experience in architecture, development, and maintenance of large-scale web applications. * Expert-level proficiency in PHP and Symfony. * Experience leading technical teams using agile methodologies. * Experience in code review, definition of technical standards, and software quality assurance. * Git & CI/CD (Jenkins, Travis, GitLab, TeamCity, etc.). * Strong communication skills. * **Intermediate/advanced French language proficiency** and English required. * Prior experience in the French public sector is mandatory.
