




DESCRIPTION At **Manper**, we are a supermarket chain with a solid track record in the market. We have 12 workplaces and a team of over 400 people who work every day to offer our customers quality products and the best service. We are currently in a process of expansion and continuous improvement. We are looking for a **Maintenance Technician**. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the proper operation of our facilities through preventive and corrective maintenance, as well as coordinating and managing external suppliers to carry out repairs and maintenance tasks when necessary. **Main responsibilities:** * Perform **preventive and corrective maintenance** on supermarket facilities, ensuring the operationality and safety of equipment and infrastructure. * Coordinate and supervise **external suppliers** for specialized work (electricity, plumbing, refrigeration, etc.). * Effectively detect and resolve any **breakdowns** or technical issues in stores. * Ensure the **proper functioning of refrigeration equipment**, electrical systems, lighting, climate control, and specific machinery. * Manage and organize **work orders**, prioritizing based on urgency and each store's needs. * Conduct periodic inspections of equipment and systems to ensure optimal performance and **prevent failures**. * Collaborate with store teams to **minimize the impact** of repairs and maintenance on daily operations. * Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities and interventions carried out. REQUIREMENTS * **Technical training** in electricity, electromechanics, facility maintenance, or related fields. * Minimum **3 years of experience** in a similar role, preferably in the retail sector or commercial environments. * Advanced knowledge in **electricity, plumbing, refrigeration, and air conditioning**. * Skills in **supplier management** and quality control of subcontracted work. * Valid driver's license and **availability to travel** between different stores in Vega Baja. * Ability to work **independently** and efficiently solve problems. * **Multitasking ability** and capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. * Flexible working hours and availability to attend **emergencies** outside regular working hours. **Valued skills:** * Previous experience in the supermarket or retail sector. * Knowledge in budget management and maintenance cost optimization. * Training in **occupational risk prevention**. **We offer:** * Joining a solid and growing company. * **Stable contract** and full-time working hours. * **Company vehicle** available for travel between stores.
