The core responsibilities of this position focus on performing general maintenance tasks within a hotel establishment. The selected candidate will be responsible for carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance work across various areas and facilities of the hotel, aiming to ensure their proper operation, safety, and comfort for guests and staff. These tasks range from routine inspection of systems to resolving daily operational incidents. Daily operations include following established protocols, performing minor adjustments and repairs, and reporting any anomalies detected that require specialized attention. The work environment is dynamic and demands adaptability to meet the needs of a hotel setting, where service availability is essential. This role directly contributes to the guest experience by ensuring that all facilities—from common areas to basic systems—are maintained in optimal condition. Activities are carried out under supervision, following guidelines set by maintenance supervisors or hotel management. The role involves continuous interaction with other hotel departments to coordinate interventions and minimize inconvenience to guests. The ultimate objective is to uphold the quality and operational standards defined by the organization, supporting service continuity and the establishment’s image. Working hours run from Wednesday to Sunday, on the afternoon shift, with specific timing to be determined by the company. The offered contract is monthly-based, subject to the sector’s general conditions, and includes the possibility of renewal depending on business needs and employee performance. Salary conditions and additional benefits will comply with the applicable collective bargaining agreement. The workplace is the hotel establishment located in the city of Murcia. Previous verifiable experience in general maintenance tasks is required, preferably within the hotel industry or in similar environments involving facility upkeep. No specific academic qualification or formal certification is mandatory for this position, although practical knowledge acquired through experience will be valued. Advanced proficiency in Spanish—both spoken and written—is essential to understand instructions and communicate effectively in the workplace. Candidates should demonstrate initiative in solving basic problems, ability to work as part of a team, and responsibility in completing assigned tasks.
