RESPONSIBILITIES 1\. Organize activities related to the preparation and setup of the kitchen, materials, ingredients, and utensils. 2\. Identify necessary elements for their work and how to prepare them, always following hygiene and safety regulations. 3\. Prepare and present basic preparations of simple dishes. 4\. Handle all kinds of raw food for subsequent processing, applying appropriate preservation methods. 5\. Monitor temperatures, whether of ovens, fryers, pans, grills, and roasters. 6\. Apply rules and measures to prevent occupational hazards and know how to act in emergency situations. 7\. Inspect the kitchen at the time of closing the restaurant or bar; the cook is responsible for inspecting the kitchen to ensure all appliances are turned off and that food has been stored or refrigerated according to recommended hygienic practices. 8\. Operate programs designated for their area. 9\. Occupational health, safety, and risks. REQUIREMENTS Proven experience in the kitchen, including experience as a line cook, restaurant cook, or kitchen assistant.
