You will operate in a multidisciplinary and international environment, using cutting-edge technologies. Within Agile contexts, you will contribute to continuous improvement of development processes. Within our teams, a **Software Engineer** applies structured methods to analyze and solve software engineering challenges. They are responsible for researching and acquiring knowledge in their technical domain. They collaborate closely and act as an active team member alongside other software engineers and stakeholders. The Software Engineer develops their skills and expertise to meet standard role expectations, as defined within our internal Professional Communities. **WHAT WILL BE YOUR MISSION?** ------------------------------ As a **Tech Lead Java**, you will participate in the **design and development of backend solutions**, ensuring **technical leadership of the team** within an **Agile and international environment**. You will collaborate with **multidisciplinary teams**, make **technical decisions**, and contribute to the **continuous improvement** of architecture, **design patterns**, and development processes. * **Software design and development**: Design and structure **high-quality software applications** using Java and associated technologies. Participate in developing the **most complex features**. * **Collaboration**: Work closely with **cross-functional teams**, including Product Managers, designers, and other engineers, to deliver **robust software solutions**. * **Code reviews**: Conduct **in-depth code reviews** to ensure quality, performance, and security. Propose **improvements in application development**. * **Technical leadership**: Provide **guidance and mentoring** to junior developers, ensuring best practices in **coding and design**. Support the team in **identifying remaining work** on projects. **THE PROFILE WE ARE LOOKING FOR** ---------------------------------- You have **over five years of relevant experience**. You are fully competent in your field and master **programming concepts**, **software design**, and **development principles**. You act as a **key player in complex environments** and can **lead a team** through design and development. You adopt a **proactive approach** to understand client needs and propose suitable solutions. You know how to **address project challenges**, propose **innovative solutions**, work under pressure, and **support your team** in achieving its goals. You are able to **simplify complex concepts**, **motivate stakeholders**, and build relationships with key stakeholders. * **Java**: Proven experience with **Java 8–21** and **Spring frameworks**. * **Software lifecycle**: Strong knowledge of **SDLC** and **Agile (Scrum)** methodologies. * **Technical skills**: **SOAP, REST, Maven, JSP, HTML, PL/SQL**. * **DevOps**: **UNIX, shell scripting, Jenkins, Ansible**. * **Databases**: Experience with **SQL and NoSQL**. * **Testing**: Proficiency in **unit and integration testing** (JUnit, Mockito). * **Versioning**: **Git, GitLab, GitHub**. * **Communication**: Excellent communication skills and collaboration with **distributed teams**. **Fluent English required**, French appreciated. * **Leadership**: Experience in **Agile technical management**, **mentoring**, **code reviews**, and technical leadership. * **Problem solving**: Strong analytical capabilities.
