Position Summary: Stantec is seeking a Junior Mining Engineer to support mine closure studies, apply environmental regulations, and plan projects. Key Highlights: 1. Application of current environmental regulations. **Requisition Number:** 24308BR **Description:** Stantec is recruiting a JUNIOR MINING ENGINEER for its offices in Peru, requiring a professional with at least four (4) years of general work experience. Key responsibilities include: * Supporting coordination across various departments and specialties within Stantec to execute mine closure-related studies and technical-economic proposals, including engineering development. * Participating in fieldwork as part of mine closure activities. * Applying current environmental regulations and procedures issued by regional and central authorities. * Contributing to the preparation of various sections and subsections of environmental studies for the area. * Participating in the planning of mine closure projects and cost estimation. **Qualifications:** Requirements for this position are: * Degree holder and/or bachelor’s graduate in Mining Engineering or related disciplines. * Advanced English proficiency. * Must have open-pit mining experience. * Proficiency in software: Minesight (or Mineplan). **About Stantec:** Stantec’s community comprises approximately 31,000 professionals working across more than 450 locations on six continents.
