As a key member of our cloud security team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust security measures for our Google Cloud Platform (GCP) infrastructure. * Develop and implement security strategies to protect our GCP environment * Configure and manage GCP security services and tools to ensure optimal protection * Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans of our cloud infrastructure * Design and implement identity and access management (IAM) policies * Monitor and analyze security events using SIEM tools * Develop and maintain security documentation, including policies, procedures, and guidelines * Collaborate with development teams to integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle * Respond to and investigate security incidents, performing root cause analysis * Stay up\-to\-date with the latest cloud security trends, threats, and mitigation techniques * Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations **Qualifications** * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field * 5\+ years of experience in cloud security engineering, with a focus on Google Cloud Platform * In\-depth knowledge of GCP security services, tools, and best practices * Strong understanding of network security, encryption technologies, and IAM * Proficiency in security information and event management (SIEM) tools * Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) * Scripting skills in languages such as Python and Bash * Familiarity with compliance frameworks (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, PCI DSS) * Google Cloud Professional Cloud Security Engineer certification (preferred) * Relevant security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CCSP, CompTIA Security\+) are a plus * Expertise in cloud security architecture, threat modeling, and risk assessment * Strong analytical and problem\-solving skills with attention to detail * Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment * Willingness to work flexible hours as needed for incident response
