**Camp Cook** We are looking for a **cook** for a summer camp, from **July 17 to 29, 2026** (12 days), to prepare **meals, snacks, and dinners** for a large group of people. The work will take place at a specific location (El Escurialejo Camp, 05460 Gavilanes, Ávila). The selected candidate may: * Commute daily if living nearby, or * Stay at the camp during working days if more convenient. During this period, there will be **one day off**, on which no duties are required. The association will provide: * Equipped kitchen * Utensils * Food supplies * Parking area * Insurance coverage for the duration of employment * Accommodation **Requirements** * Prior experience cooking for **large groups**, especially in camps or collective settings. * Formal training in cooking or hospitality is valued. * Valid **food handler’s certificate**. * Mandatory **certificate regarding sexual offenses**, as this is a setting involving minors. * Ability to work under pressure and organize tasks effectively. * Positive attitude, cheerful demeanor, responsibility, and good interpersonal skills with children and young people. **Conditions** * **Temporary** contract. * Full-time position. * Non-profit youth association. * Salary between **€1,300 and €1,500** (to be confirmed). * Payment will be made **upon completion of the work period**. Zinko Smart Services S.L. will carry out in Ávila the **Program of Activities for elderly residents of the municipality**, which includes the **Laughter Therapy activity**, involving healthy dynamics and workshops that promote the physical, mental, emotional, and social well-being of participants. The Laughter Therapy activity is part of the special events programming: * International Day for Older Persons (June 15) * Grandparents' Day (July 26) * International Day of Older Persons * One intergenerational activity * One intercultural activity **Target audience** The activity is aimed at **3 groups of 25 elderly people** residing in Ávila, distributed across the city's three areas: center, north, and south. **Schedules and venues** **12 teaching hours will be delivered at each center, totaling 36h/year**, distributed across various municipal facilities: * **Calle Burgos Room** → Mondays and Fridays from 12:15 PM to 1:15 PM * **Centro Polivalente Sur (C/ Las Eras)** → Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10:45 AM to 11:45 AM * **Centro Vicente Ferrer (C/ Medina del Campo)** → Mondays from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM and Thursdays from 12:15 PM to 1:15 PM **Activity timeline:** Between January 15 and June 15, and from October 15 to December 15 (7 months total). Activities will follow the official school calendar of Castilla y León, aligning with school days and non-school days. **Responsibilities** * Deliver laughter therapy sessions adapted for elderly individuals. * Design and conduct activities including: laughter yoga, aerobic laughter, games, improvisation, movement, and body expression. * Promote socialization, humor, and emotional well-being among participants. **Required profile** * **Certified training and experience** in laughter therapy, laughter yoga, and/or related therapies. * Demonstrable experience working with elderly people. * Strong communication skills, empathy, dynamism, and ability to motivate groups. * Additional training in sociocultural animation or expressive therapies is a plus. **Gross salary:** €450 - €500 for the entire 36-hour activity. €13.88 per hour. **Human resources:** 1 monitor with experience in laughter therapy and laughter yoga.
