Main responsibilities will include: * Installation and configuration of SQL Server instances and related tools (e.g., SQL Server Management Studio - SSMS). * User and role management at server and database levels. * Backup and restore management, definition of recovery models, and security policies. * Performance monitoring, incident resolution, and query optimization. * Version updates and migrations. * Permission and access management using fixed and custom roles, both at server and database levels. * Installation, configuration, and maintenance of PostgreSQL servers. * User and role management, applying minimum privileges and segmenting access based on requirements. * Creation of specific roles (e.g., readonly, readwrite) and assignment to users according to use cases. * Backup and restore administration (pg_dump, pg_restore), as well as scheduling maintenance tasks (vacuum, log analysis). * Resource and performance monitoring, parameter tuning, and incident resolution. * Secure authentication setup (scram-sha-256, SSL), password management, and expiration policies. * Use of tools such as pgAdmin for visual management and automation of administrative tasks. **We are looking for candidates based in Madrid or willing to relocate to the city** **Requirements** * Vocational training, Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent * Experience in Microsoft **SQL Server and PostgreSQL** database administration * Language: Native Spanish and English (minimum B2) **Compensation and benefits** At Accenture, a company recognized as a Great Place To Work®, we support a hybrid work model that, thanks to technology and our facilities, allows us to maintain the essential human connection needed to work effectively with our teams and clients.
