In Spain, SOCOTEC has a highly qualified multidisciplinary team and adopts an approach grounded in technical excellence, innovation, and collaboration. **JOB DESCRIPTION** SOCOTEC Spain is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our Building and Installations Division in Madrid or Zaragoza. The selected candidate will participate in the design, coordination, and supervision of electrical installations for building projects, contributing technical expertise and the ability to independently manage projects of varying complexity. This position targets professionals with proven experience in electrical installations who wish to further develop their careers within a specialized, multidisciplinary technical environment. **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES** * Design and development of electrical installations for building projects. * Technical coordination of electrical installations with other project disciplines. * Supervision and review of technical solutions and documentation. * Development and review of electrical calculations. * Preparation and review of drawings, technical reports, specifications, and other technical documentation. * Technical monitoring of projects and resolution of potential issues. * Coordination with internal teams and other stakeholders involved in the projects. * Occasional participation in site visits and meetings related to project execution. **ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS** * Education: Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification. * Experience: Minimum 5 years in the design and development of electrical installations. * Proven experience in building projects. * Experience in coordinating and supervising electrical installations. * Ability to independently manage projects. * Spanish language proficiency. * Valid Spanish driving license (Class B). **PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS** * Experience in technically complex building projects. * Experience in multidisciplinary project coordination. * English language proficiency. * Knowledge of specialized software and tools for electrical installation design and calculation. * Experience in technical due diligence of installations. **CONDITIONS** * Location: Madrid (preferred) or Zaragoza. * Contract type: Permanent. * Working hours: Full-time. * Work mode: Hybrid. **BENEFITS:** * Intensive working schedule during July and August. * Flexible compensation program. * 24th and 31st December off. * Birthday leave day. * Professional development within an international company. * Participation in technically complex building and installation projects. * Integration into a specialized multidisciplinary team.
