We are seeking a Senior Python Software Engineer to build an agent-based application on AWS. * Develop and extend an agent built on AWS Bedrock AgentCore (memories, gateways, tools). The product already exists and is operational; this is ongoing development, not a greenfield project. * Write production-grade Python code in an AWS environment, including unit tests and clean architecture. * The agent receives natural-language questions and returns dynamic chart payloads. It goes well beyond NL\-to\-SQL or conversational chatbots. * Portfolio data from R\&D: planning and finance. The pharma business logic resides in a semantic layer already defined by another team. * Context: next-generation R\&D reporting tool, with users ranging from EVP to project level. Your profile: o Mandatory requirements: * Solid, hands\-on Python experience, including unit testing. * Foundational software design knowledge: architecture, design principles, modular coding. Mathieu asks this directly in interviews and used these exact words: "things you don’t learn just by using an LLM." * AWS experience as a developer: Lambda, ECS, Fargate. You must have written code running on AWS—not merely deployed others’ code. * Proficiency in Git, Docker, and shell scripting. * Fluent English.
