We are seeking a **Procurement Engineer** with experience in managing and supervising procurement plans for industrial projects (civil works, steel structures, mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation).
This position targets professionals experienced in acquisition processes for EPC projects, capable of managing project budget requests from the design phase through to purchase order issuance, collaborating with clients and multidisciplinary teams to ensure proper execution of the procurement plan.

**Responsibilities:**
Manage and supervise the project’s procurement plan from the design phase through to purchase order issuance.
Manage all project budget requests.
Report procurement plan progress to the Procurement Director.
Support the client, contract management team, and project management during the procurement process.
Coordinate engineering, construction, cost control, and planning teams to ensure correct definition of procurement packages.
Ensure compliance with client policies, strategies, and procedures for project supply execution.
Support the client throughout the entire tendering cycle.
Collect and manage documentation for budget requests, ensuring technical and commercial documentation is available and updated according to project maturity.
Contribute to achieving procurement KPIs.
Maintain communication with suppliers.
Collaborate with the planning team to adjust schedules based on actual budget request availability.
Proactively identify potential project risks and develop corresponding mitigation plans, reporting to the Procurement Director, Project Management, and Steering Committee.
Perform other duties inherent to the role or assigned by the Procurement Director and PMC Project Management.
**Requirements:**
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
Over 10 years’ experience in Procurement for EPC contracts and/or participation in PMC or EPCM teams.
Experience in technically complex projects within the steel, mining, or infrastructure sectors.
Experience with MS Office, UNIFIER and/or Aconex.
Commercial mindset.
Negotiation skills with international suppliers.
Teamwork ability and technical rigor.
Autonomy and innovative mindset.
Advanced English.
**Desirable Qualifications:**
Experience in quality control and assurance.
Logistics knowledge.
