Job Summary: Perform maintenance and operation of a DWTP, monitoring parameters and managing by-products to ensure quality water supply. Key Highlights: 1. Industrial technical environment with precision requirements Carry out operational and general maintenance tasks at a Drinking Water Treatment Plant (DWTP). This includes operating equipment, actuating valves, starting and stopping hydraulic pumps and motors, and monitoring operational parameters to ensure proper plant functionality. Tank and reservoir levels are also monitored, instrumentation readings are taken, and basic process analyses are performed. Another important task is managing treatment by-products, such as sludge dewatering, always following industrial safety and hygiene procedures. Work is carried out in a technical and industrial environment where precision is essential. This role contributes to the integrated water cycle—a key public service—ensuring quality water supply compliant with regulatory standards for human consumption and environmental protection. A Medium-Level Vocational Training qualification is required. Specific knowledge in electricity and mechanics is mandatory, as is a valid driver's license. Knowledge of wastewater treatment processes will be considered a positive asset.
