




Summary: As a Lead Teacher for the IT SkillSprint program, you will guide 3rd-year university students through a high-impact curriculum, fostering a supportive learning environment and challenging them to develop strategic real-world projects. Challenge students to think strategically on real-world projects. ### **About the Project** **IT SkillSprint** is a high\-impact program delivered by **Ironhack** in collaboration with **IDDA** (Innovation and Digital Development Agency) and the **State Agency of Azerbaijan**. This initiative is specifically designed for 3rd\-year university students who have been fully released from their regular classes to dedicate themselves entirely to this bootcamp. These students come from technical backgrounds and are highly motivated, as the credits earned count directly towards their university degrees. ### **Timeline \& Delivery** * **Format:** 100% Remote (No travel required). * **Onboarding:** Late April (with the Education Team Lead and Project Manager). * **Start Date:** May 5th (taking over an ongoing program). * **End Date:** July 17th (final projects and closing ceremony). * **Duration:** \~12 weeks remaining. * **Extension:** Potential for a 2\-week extension for mentorship and preparation. ### **Your Role \& Responsibilities** As the Lead Teacher, you will lead a class of **28 students** supported by a Teaching Assistant. Your mission includes: * **Curriculum Delivery:** Leading and adapting the remaining curriculum based on the global syllabus. * **Daily Sessions:** Leading live sessions Monday to Friday. * **Academic Oversight:** Administering assessment tasks and providing timely feedback on learning outcomes. * **Community Building:** Facilitating a safe, supportive, and energetic community that welcomes various learning styles. * **Strategic Mentorship:** Challenging students to think strategically as they turn ideas into real\-world projects. ### **Requirements** * **Technical Expertise:** \+3 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, SRE, or Platform Engineering. * **Cloud \& Tools:** Proficiency in **Azure** (VMs, VNets, CosmosDB), **Terraform**, **Ansible**, **Docker/Kubernetes (AKS)**, and **CI/CD** (GitHub Actions). * **Foundations:** Strong knowledge of Linux, Git, networking, and scripting (Bash/Python). * **Language:** Full fluency in **English** (mandatory). * **Soft Skills:** Excellent communication, empathy, patience, and a "can\-do" attitude. ### **Position Details \& Compensation** * **Schedule:** Monday to Friday, **07:00 AM to 11:30 AM CEST** (which corresponds to 09:00 AM to 13:30 PM Baku time) (4\.5 hours/day). * **Agreement:** Freelance contractor agreement (Invoicing as a freelance professional is required). * **Future Potential:** Opportunity for involvement in future editions of the program in the upcoming academic year.
