AIRBUS offers an internship (curricular practicum) program aimed at students who are in the last year of their degree with the main objective of acquiring professional skills through the development of a project in the company.
**What do we offer?** **:** Internship (curricular practicum) program \+ Bachelor’s Degree Final Project (TFG).
**Mission:** You will prepare a final year training project that will allow you to complete your official studies.
**About practical training:**
* 6 months of curricular practicum at AIRBUS from February to July 2026
* Part time: 5h / day \- 25 hours per week (8h\-13h)
* Tutor assignment for continuous monitoring
**Industrial Maintenance East Site Airbus Illescas:**
The maintenance department of the East Site at the Airbus Illescas plant is generally responsible for ensuring the availability and proper functioning of all automatic production systems that make up the manufacturing lines for elementary carbon components: HTP A320, HTP A330, S19 fuselage A350, Eurofighter wing skin.
It involves more than 30 major assets, including various technologies such as: Carbon taping, Nitrogen autoclave curing, Machining, Ultrasonic inspection, Dimensional inspection, among others.
The department is structured into two main areas: Engineering and Technical Team.
**Tasks to be performed by the student to complete the TFG:**
Analysis of machine performance data and some of their key parameters, and development and implementation of autonomous maintenance on the most critical machines.
Deliverables for the TFG include:
* Deployment and control of the improvement plan
* Analysis of objectives set vs achieved
**Knowledge the student will acquire:**
General knowledge of Siemens numerical controls
Analysis of machine failure modes
Maintenance KPI analysis
Decision making based on Pareto charts
**In which projects or areas are the internships framed:**
The internship is part of the engineering area within the maintenance department
**Tools to be used:**
SAP
GSuite
**Skills required:**
As a selected candidate, you must demonstrate the following skills and experience:
Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Electrical, Electronic or Mechatronic Engineering
English: minimum level B2 (preferably C1\)
Spanish: minimum level B1
General knowledge of Google Suite environment
Desirable skills: programming in Python
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Team spirit and strong collaboration skills
Ability to work in an international environment
