Our opportunities are for everyone, without distinction of any kind; all disabilities are welcome* **POSITION SUMMARY** Performs manufacturing processes that ensure the correct and effective construction and verification of quoted goods and products. **ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES** * Inserts parts into assemblies or subassemblies according to visual aids. * Restocks or replenishes parts at the workstation and calculates the quantity of parts that must be prepared and ready for use at any time. * Reviews material kits, delivers material to the production line, reports waste, and keeps the work area clean and organized. * Actively participates in team activities/projects, communicates effectively with the team, attends team meetings, and demonstrates a high level of teamwork. * Regularly and frequently rotates among three of the following positions: Soldering \- Inspects machine accuracy and manual placement of components along with their solderability. Machine Operator * Ensures precision and continuous operation of automated manufacturing equipment. Tester **I** * Handles automated electronic test equipment. Tester **II** * Operates testers for field return units ( **FRU** ) and automated electronic test equipment. * May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. **PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS** **KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS*** Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and the general public. * Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. * Ability to operate a personal computer, including using a Windows-based operating system and related software. * Advanced **PC** knowledge, including training and familiarity with Jabil software packages. * Ability to write simple correspondence. Read and understand visual aids. * Ability to apply common sense to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions. * Ability to handle standardized situations with occasional or no variables. * Ability to read and understand simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. * Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. * Ability to calculate rates, ratios, and percentages and to draw and interpret graphs.
