**Data Security Engineer – Data Loss Prevention (DLP)**
Would you like to further develop your career as a **Data Security Engineer**, participating in a **strategic data protection project** within a **leading multinational in the chemical sector**, as part of a **global Information Security team**, and working with cutting-edge security technologies?
At **Oxigent Technologies**, we are seeking a **Data Security Engineer** to join a strategic project focused on the **implementation and evolution of the Data Loss Prevention (DLP) program**, located in **Sant Joan Despí (Barcelona)**.
If selected, your mission will be to lead the implementation and continuous improvement of the company’s data protection strategy, collaborating with international teams and defining scalable cybersecurity processes.
**What will be your main responsibilities?**
* Design, implement, and manage **Data Loss Prevention (DLP)** solutions to protect the organization’s sensitive information.
* Define and optimize **data protection and classification policies**, ensuring compliance with corporate standards.
* Monitor and investigate incidents related to potential data leaks, driving appropriate remediation actions.
* Collaborate with **Cybersecurity, IT, GRC, and business teams** to identify risks and enhance data protection.
* Develop and document **operational processes**, procedures, runbooks, and best practices related to information security.
Participate in internal and external audits as the technical subject-matter expert on data protection.

**What do you need to succeed?**
* Minimum **3 years of experience in Cybersecurity**, including at least **2 years working with DLP solutions**.
* Experience with tools such as **Microsoft Purview, Varonis, Forcepoint**, or equivalent solutions.
* Knowledge of **data classification, information protection, endpoint security, network security, and cloud environments**.
* Experience applying standards such as **ISO 27001** and/or **NIST**.
* Ability to define and document **cybersecurity processes, procedures, and workflows**.
* **English proficiency level B2–C1**, with capability to actively participate in international meetings.
