Job Description The primary objective of this role is to plan, direct, and coordinate R&D activities for new electronic components and ensure continuous improvement of existing components, aligning them with the technological innovations applied in the Company’s products. MAIN FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Plan, direct, and coordinate R&D activities to develop new products and improve existing ones. * Collaborate with the R&D Director to define the overall R&D program, set project goals, and establish budgets. * Lead and manage R&D personnel activities. * Coordinate and oversee project development at external research centers, monitoring timelines, costs, and quality. * Establish and manage budgets, control expenditures, and ensure efficient resource utilization. * Define and implement operational and administrative procedures. * Monitor selection, training, and performance of staff under supervision. * Collaborate with the R&D Director and senior management to define objectives, programs, and timelines for the company’s innovation strategy. * The company’s R&D department undertakes both updating of existing company products and development and evaluation of new products. * Support and collaborate with other company departments to thoroughly analyze innovation-related production needs. Candidate Requirements CANDIDATE PROFILE * Formal Education: University degree in Electronic Engineering / Telecommunications with specialization in electronics. * Non-formal / Complementary Education: A Master’s degree in Project Management is highly valued.
