Working in an international, multicultural, and dynamic team DESCRIPTION We are seeking a (software) test engineer focused on automation to create and maintain synthetic integration tests that guarantee the reliability, consistency, and resilience of our SaaS booking system. In this role, you will design automated testing strategies that proactively validate system performance across all services, APIs, and critical workflows—before customers encounter any issues. Your contributions will help identify gaps, prevent regressions, and improve observability within our distributed architecture. This is a highly collaborative role where you will work closely with Product, Development, and DevOps teams to ensure our platform remains robust, scalable, and resilient under real-world conditions. * Develop and implement synthetic integration tests that simulate real-user interactions on our platform. * Automate end\-to\-end test scenarios for websites and APIs to detect failures early. * Integrate testing frameworks into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous validation of system integrity. * Work closely with Development and DevOps teams to enhance observability and incident detection. * Collaborate with developers to ensure best practices for testability and maintainability in software design. * Contribute to monitoring and alerting strategies, ensuring test failures deliver useful and meaningful insights. **Requirements:** * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent. * Solid experience with automated testing frameworks (e.g., Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, Pact, Karate, or similar). * Proficiency in scripting and programming (Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, or other relevant languages). * Practical experience in API and web page testing. * Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and test automation in environments such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI. * Experience with observability and monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus and Grafana). * Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset. * Good written and spoken English proficiency. * Valid work permit for the EU. **Conditions:** * 100% remote work. If the candidate resides in Palma de Mallorca, one day per week is required in the office (though they may come in more often if desired). * Flexible working hours. * Opportunity to work in a young, dynamic company with a startup feel, while also being part of an international corporation. * A responsible and varied field of activity within an international, multicultural team. * Diverse employee benefits depending on location, such as a healthy work\-life balance, fresh fruit and beverages, ergonomic workstations, etc. * Modern, adaptive agile methodology applied across all levels in a product\-oriented environment.
