The Financial Markets and Global Treasury (FMGT) IT domain supports ING’s core commercial activities: Trading, Risk Management, and Liquidity Management. Our systems process thousands of trades in real time, handling billions of euros daily—requiring near\-continuous uptime. We use a mi of cutting\-edge in\-house solutions and leading vendor platforms. Our teams operate globally—from the Netherlands, Singapore, UK, Spain and India—serving users in over 30 countries. English is our primary language, and our teams are diverse and virtual. Working in DevOps Scrum teams, we take full ownership of our software—from feature analysis and design to development, deployment, and production support. Our goal is to build self\-managing, self\-optimizing systems. **Your key responsibilities:** Onboarding initiatives: Migrating business from legacy systems to the strategic Mure* platform. * Strategic development: Delivering new financial products and functionalities. You will configure comple functionalities and oversee their deployment in production. You’ll also develop tools and interfaces (e.g., * ML, Python scripts) to support system operations. * Automation is central to your role—covering deployment, testing (functional, technical, performance), system monitoring, and security alerts. As part of a DevOps team with end\-to\-end ownership, you’ll ensure the Mure* service is stable, scalable, and secure. * You’ll also manage functional and technical support, and engage with diverse stakeholders and third\-party systems—offering rich opportunities for growth and learning. You will have a broad set of responsibilities, and while it would be great if you have some eperience with all of these, we will consider candidates with the right foundation who need support and coaching in some of these areas. Proficiency in SQL, Linu* , and scripting languages (Bash, Python). * Familiarity with Continuous Delivery tools (e.g., Git, Azure). Curiosity and willingness to e* plore new technologies. E* cellent command of English (spoken and written). **Nice to Have** E* perience with SQL optimization and Oracle DB performance tuning. Familiarity with Mure* data model.
