For our service center in Oviedo , we are seeking to hire a Workshop Technician . This role is designed for individuals with manual dexterity, customer orientation, eagerness to learn, and commitment to high-quality work. Prior experience in the automotive glass sector is not required: if you meet the job requirements and bring the right attitude, motivation, aptitude for hands-on work, and desire to grow, previous specific experience will not be an obstacle. Upon joining, you will receive comprehensive training at one of our training centers, where you will learn the procedures, tools, and knowledge necessary to perform the role safely, reliably, and confidently. What will your day-to-day responsibilities involve? You will join the workshop team and participate in the repair, replacement, and recalibration of vehicle glass, following Carglass®’s established technical, quality, and safety procedures. **Your key responsibilities will include:** Performing automotive glass repairs and replacements. Using technical tools and equipment according to defined procedures. Ensuring service quality, safety, and workshop organization. Providing friendly, clear, and professional customer service. Explaining the work performed and addressing basic questions related to the service. Identifying additional customer needs and recommending solutions honestly and naturally. Collaborating with the rest of the team to ensure efficient center operations and an excellent customer experience. What qualities do we value? We seek a proactive, responsible individual eager to develop within a technical and service-oriented environment. **We would like you to bring:** Experience or aptitude in manual tasks, assembly, repair, use of tools, or technical environments. Interest in learning a technical specialty related to the automotive industry. Attention to detail, organizational skills, and commitment to safety. Ability to work efficiently, adapt to change, and maintain quality even during peak activity periods. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate clearly with customers. Teamwork, collaboration, and a positive attitude. Valid driver’s license. Prior experience in automotive, mechanical, bodywork and painting, windshield installation, or similar roles is considered advantageous but not mandatory. What do we offer?
