Geriatric Caregiver

Description

We are seeking staff to care for elderly individuals at a senior residence in Gijón (Asturias). Main responsibilities include personal hygiene assistance and repositioning, as well as supporting residents in daily activities such as hygiene, feeding, helping them get up and go to bed, sphincter control, transfers, and dining room assistance. It is also essential to promptly report any health-related incidents concerning the residents. Candidates must hold formal training as a Nursing Assistant Technician, a Dependency Care Technician, or the corresponding professional certification. Additionally, a food handler’s certificate is required. Prior experience in a similar role will be considered favorably. This position is offered under a full-time temporary employment contract. Working hours are organized into rotating morning and afternoon shifts. The salary complies with the VIII National Framework Agreement for the Care of Dependent Persons and the Promotion of Personal Autonomy.
