Maintenance Technician

Description

The professional will be responsible for maintenance operations within an industrial environment in the food sector. Their main responsibilities will include supervising and performing preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance tasks on production machinery and systems, ensuring their availability and operational efficiency. Daily activities involve close collaboration with other departments, always prioritizing safety, product quality, and sustainability goals. The position requires active presence on the shop floor to diagnose incidents, propose improvements, and carry out repairs that minimize line downtime. The scope of work ranges from handling complex electromechanical systems to managing control parameters, ensuring all operations comply with established food safety protocols and good manufacturing practices. The company offers a direct employment contract. Working hours are organized into rotating shifts covering morning, afternoon, and night, including the possibility of working some weekends during intensive campaign periods. Salary compensation will be determined during the selection process, taking into account the candidate's experience and qualifications. A minimum qualification of Vocational Training (FP) at intermediate or advanced level in electromechanics, mechatronics, mechanics, electricity, or industrial refrigeration is required. At least three years of proven experience in industrial maintenance is mandatory. Knowledge of programmable logic controller (PLC) programming and automation software will be considered an advantage.
