Job Description The IPT Sterile Production unit, part of Merck’s Salamanca Animal Health plant, is responsible for the manufacturing and conditioning of sterile pharmaceutical products, including bulk manufacturing, aseptic packaging, and FPU packaging. The plant operates as an integrated part of our global manufacturing network to ensure the highest quality of biological intermediates and finished products, adhering to the “Safe by Choice – Quality Always” principles and mindset in all activities performed. To strengthen our Aseptic Packaging team at the Salamanca plant, we seek a proactive, organized, and team-oriented individual willing to perform **operator** duties in the Packaging area. **Key Responsibilities:** * Perform required activities during the aseptic packaging process. * Receive and prepare materials required for packaging processes. * Monitor environmental conditions in the packaging room and packaging equipment during operations, ensuring compliance with established standards. * Perform required packaging activities while adhering to aseptic practices. * Carry out cleaning and disinfection procedures for the work area and associated equipment. * Conduct environmental microbiological monitoring during the process. * Collect and manage samples. * Complete and review batch documentation, ensuring timely and error-free submission. * Take responsibility for maintaining one’s own training status. **Requirements:** * Minimum 1 year of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. * Experience in aseptic packaging processes and aseptic practices in classified cleanrooms (Grade A/B). * Knowledge of aseptic packaging processes for inactivated vaccines, media, solutions, and diluents. * Knowledge of equipment cleaning and sterilization processes. * Familiarity with SCADA, SAP, and Labware systems.
