Quality Control Technician

Description

A food sector company in Cambados is seeking to hire a person for the quality control department. Responsibilities include inspecting raw materials and finished products, verifying compliance with hygiene and cleaning standards, and ensuring all tasks are performed according to HACCP preventive measures and departmental guidelines. The role also involves process controls, such as metal detectors and gas analyzers, as well as document management, review of non-conformities, and follow-up on complaints. Additionally, the candidate will support staff training in food safety and conduct internal and external audits. A full-time employment contract is offered, with a 40-hour weekly schedule from Monday to Friday on a rotating morning and afternoon shift, including statutory breaks. * Minimum 1 year of experience as a Quality Technician, preferably in the food industry. * We seek a responsible and proactive individual. * Residence near the workplace is desirable. * A vehicle is required for commuting. * Degree in Biology, Vocational Training Certificate in Quality and Food Industries and/or equivalent.
