Maintenance Engineer

Cantoria, ES, 04850 **What we are looking for** We are seeking a **technically trained Engineer** with experience in data management who is interested in leveraging that knowledge to fill a hands-on role within the **industrial maintenance team**, engaging with large-scale factory initiatives and having the opportunity to drive significant impact across the industrial area. **Location**: Cantoria (Almería) **Working hours**: Monday to Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 6:15 p.m.; Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. **Your responsibilities** * Lead, at a technical level, the analysis, diagnosis, and repair of complex failures affecting systems/equipment. * Coordinate with the Production Department on corrective and preventive\-planned maintenance of machinery and execution deadlines. * Manage personnel and materials to ensure proper operation of machinery and facilities. * Develop necessary work procedures for various maintenance interventions, during breakdowns or workshop repair activities. * Prepare technical reports on failure analysis and root causes, weekly, monthly and annual cost tracking, and evaluation of technical maintenance indicators. * Resolve queries, provide training and technical support to the maintenance team in coordination with its supervisors. * Participate in optimization and improvement projects for the maintenance department. * Manage and train your own team. * Analyze work processes with the aim of proposing improvement actions and departmental development. * Ensure the proper functioning of machine safety systems. * Carry out maintenance interventions in accordance with technical documentation and equipment/system conditions. * Accurately, clearly and concisely report jobs and failures in XMII. Specify work performed, time spent, materials used, etc. * Comply with the 5S principles: Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize and Sustain. **What you need to succeed** **Experience:** Minimum 5 years’ experience creating dashboards, analyzing data and drawing conclusions, ideally within a maintenance environment and in an industrial organization. **Academic Qualification:** Degree in Maintenance Engineering, Industrial Engineering or similar, providing a solid technical foundation and clear orientation toward the industrial and/or plant maintenance field. **Knowledge:** Proficiency in AutoCAD, Inventor, SAP, and Microsoft Office suite. Ability to understand, handle and document modifications (if required) to electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic schematics.
