Description

Job Summary: Conduct inspections, verifications, evaluations, and certifications of equipment, facilities, and industrial processes, ensuring compliance with specifications and customer requirements. Key Responsibilities: 1. Conduct material and equipment inspections and verifications. 2. Provide a broad range of technical services in the industrial sector. 3. Supervise and evaluate inspectors (Level 2). Objective Perform inspections, verifications, evaluations, certifications, validations, homologations, activations, supervisions, interventions, expert opinions, trainings, tests, controls, assistance, and other technical services related to activities, products, equipment, facilities, processes, and industrial projects, in accordance with specifications, customer requirements, and established procedures. Requirements Engineering degree Driver's license and personal vehicle Responsibilities (Level 1) * Inspection of materials, components, and simple equipment (all forms of materials, steel products, valves, gears, cables, etc.). * Material Certification Inspections 3.2. * Support manufacturing, conversion, and testing operations. * Verification of equipment and facilities. * Visual inspection of equipment, dimensional control, and presence during hydrostatic testing. * Preparation of relevant reports. These reports must not be sent to the client before being validated and signed by the Level II or III inspector who supervised the assignment. * Welding and metallurgy qualification services. * Fault monitoring, machine and tool control for auxiliary companies, stores, etc. * Responsibilities (Level 2) In addition to the responsibilities of the previous level, the following responsibilities may also be performed, among others: * Inspections conducted in accordance with contractual requirements. * Liaison with the client to obtain additional information required for inspections and coordination of initial meetings. * Development of inspection schedules and organization of inspections with manufacturers. * Supervision and evaluation of Level I inspectors. * Review of manufacturer documentation and issuance of contractual documents. * Inspection of pressure equipment (including materials used for tanks, boilers, heat exchangers, piping, valves, etc.). * Inspection of welded structures and permanent joining constructions. * Inspection of equipment for processing, transformation, or industrial plants (refineries, chemical plants, power generation plants, all types of manufactured products, etc.). * Inspection of all types of machinery (containing moving parts). * Inspection of lifting and handling gear (forklifts, gantry cranes, overhead cranes, rollers, slings, hoists, scaffolding, conveyors, etc.). * Inspection of all types of mechanical devices used in large units (pumps, motors, alternators, turbines, etc.). * Inspection of static electrical equipment (batteries, transformers, insulators, cables, etc.). * Inspection of remote automatic control systems and monitoring/control systems, etc. * Interventions related to Directives (Pressure Equipment Modules, Transportable Pressure Equipment, Lifts, Machinery, Rail Interoperability, etc.) as a Notified Body. * Review of calculations and design of equipment and systems in the metallurgical sector. * Collection of KPIs, study and analysis of preventive and corrective maintenance, consumption data, fault monitoring, machine and tool control, * auxiliary company tools, stores, calibrations, etc. * **Job Description and Profile (external)**
