About the Role
We are seeking a Production Operator to join our team in Tabernas. The selected candidate will be responsible for supporting production operations, as well as associated warehouse and logistics activities, including truck loading, order preparation, stock control, and basic administrative tasks.
This position plays a vital role in ensuring operations run safely, orderly, and efficiently, meeting quality, safety, and customer service standards. You will work closely with production, warehouse, and logistics teams to ensure proper management of materials, products, and operational documentation.
What You’ll Do
* Operate manufacturing equipment and facilities in accordance with established operating procedures.
* Carry out production activities safely, efficiently, and in an environmentally responsible manner.
* Ensure compliance with quality standards throughout all stages of the production process.
* Conduct routine operational inspections of equipment and facilities.
* Identify and report incidents, deviations, or anomalies that may affect safety, quality, or productivity.
* Participate in basic maintenance and equipment cleaning activities as required.
* Collaborate with production and logistics teams to meet manufacturing and distribution requirements.
* Load MEMU trucks and support product dispatch operations in accordance with established procedures.
* Handle explosives in accordance with established safety procedures; the selected candidate must obtain the MEMU blaster license, for which Orica will provide the necessary training following hiring.
* Manage and organize the warehouse, ensuring correct storage, identification, and availability of materials and products.
* Prepare orders and materials for production, dispatch, or customer delivery, ensuring accuracy and on-time fulfillment.
* Perform stock control, verifying inventory levels, recording movements, and reporting discrepancies or replenishment needs.
* Support administrative tasks related to production, warehouse, dispatch, records, and operational documentation.
* Comply with Safety, Health, Environment, and Security (SHES) policies and procedures.
* Actively participate in continuous improvement, productivity, and operational excellence initiatives.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date operational records in accordance with established procedures.
What You’ll Bring
* Relevant education/training for performing operational roles in industrial environments.
* Required certifications to operate equipment and production processes (training provided by Orica).
* Basic computer literacy for data entry, information retrieval, and fundamental operational documentation management.
* Foundational knowledge of quality management and ability to apply established procedures, controls, and standards.
* Forklift operation experience is preferred; however, the company can provide necessary training.
* Prior experience in industrial production, chemical, manufacturing, or continuous-process environments will be viewed favorably.
* Ability to strictly follow operating procedures and safety regulations.
* Commitment to quality, safety, and teamwork.
* Capacity to work responsibly in dynamic, production-oriented environments.
* Strong communication and collaboration skills with colleagues and supervisors.
