**Mission** The Analytical Development Scientist is responsible for the development and validation of analytical methods required to evaluate and ensure the quality of APIs, reporting directly to the Analytical Development Manager. **Responsibilities** * Conduct a literature review prior to experimental work. * Manage instrument qualifications, verifications, and incidents in the laboratory. * Evaluate analytical results derived from each experiment. * Support the Synthesis team in analyzing routine samples related to project development. * Identify major impurities in raw materials, intermediates, and the final API. * Characterize the various standards obtained during the project. * Perform forced degradation studies (stress testing) on the final product. * Carry out validation of established analytical methods to ensure the quality of raw materials and finished products. * Develop and validate additional methods for specific applications, such as evaluation of genotoxic impurities and nitrosamines, carry-over, absence testing, etc. * Perform cross-validation of developed methods against pharmacopoeial compendial methods. * Manage, evaluate, and supervise analytical studies and validations conducted in external laboratories. * Draft analytical documentation accompanying the API. * Execute technology transfer to the Quality Control Department. * Collaborate with the Quality Control Department to resolve incidents occurring during industrial batch analysis. * Collaborate with the Regulatory Affairs Department to address Deficiency Letters received from regulatory agencies, as well as client observations and queries. * Collaborate with Analytical Development Analysts in conducting experimental assays. **Why Ferrer?** * Positively impact society. * Opportunity to participate in volunteer initiatives. * Corporate culture based on trust and responsibility. * Hybrid and collaborative work model. * Opportunities for continuous development and learning. * Restaurant vouchers in case of split shifts. * Flexible compensation. * People Support Plan (psychological, legal, and financial counseling).
