




Job Summary: We are seeking a self-employed accountant to manage clients' general accounting, including invoices, bank transactions, payroll, amortizations, and taxes, using SAGE and communicating in English when necessary. Use SAGE and communicate in English ### **Responsibilities:** * Manage clients' general accounting, ensuring correct application of the Spanish General Chart of Accounts (PGC). * Record invoices, bank transactions, payroll, and amortizations. * Prepare and file periodic and annual tax returns (VAT, tax year-end closings, etc.). * Support the preparation of monthly and annual financial closings. * Manage and review VAT-related matters. * Maintain accurate bookkeeping and control over financial information. * Use **SAGE** as the primary accounting management tool. * Communicate in writing in English with clients or international stakeholders when required. * Work autonomously on assigned tasks, covering a temporary absence with potential for continuity. ### **Requirements:** * 2–5 years of experience in accounting roles, preferably in accounting firms, advisory services, or consulting. * Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or related field. * Solid knowledge of financial and tax accounting (PGC). * Experience managing annual tax returns and VAT fundamentals. * Experience recording payroll and amortizations. * Proficiency in SAGE. * Minimum English level B2–C1, fluent spoken English. * Ability to work autonomously and responsibly from day one. * Availability for immediate start or with possibility of overlap. * Residence in or availability to work in Barcelona.
