(ASTICAN) is a privately-owned ship repair yard with experienced personnel, whose main activity is the repair, maintenance and conversion of all types of vessels, structures and devices for marine renewable energies and offshore units.** ### **The shipyard became fully operational in 1976 with modern facilities, particularly featuring a Syncrolift launching system capable of lifting vessels up to 36,000 tonnes and seven slipways, meeting the quality and service demands of shipowners and allowing quick turnaround assistance.** **Position:** ----------- At Astican, we are seeking a person to collaborate and support the Mechanical, Propulsion and Handling Workshop team in basic and technical assistance tasks, under the direct supervision of a specialized mechanical technician. Main responsibilities include: * Assist in preparing and organizing materials and tools for workshop operations. * Collaborate in carrying out handling and mechanical tasks as directed by the responsible technician. * Help maintain order and cleanliness in work areas. * Assist in basic inspection of equipment and tools, reporting any issues. * Support in managing simple documentation (work reports, basic records). Comply with the company's health, safety and environmental regulations. * **Requirements:** --------------- * Bachelor's degree in Naval, Industrial or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent. * English language proficiency at B2 level. * Previous experience in industrial environments or workshops is desirable. * Knowledge of naval mechanics and workshop machinery is advantageous. **Additional Information:** --------------------- *Astican is an equal opportunity employer.
