Opportunity to adapt to evolving technologies within the industry. **ob Description: Field Application Engineer (FAE)** The Field Application Engineer (FAE) serves as a technical liaison between the company’s engineering teams and customers. This role involves providing technical support, product demonstrations, and ensuring successful product integration for customers. **Key Responsibilities:** * **Technical Support:** Provide first\-level support for AVer products (installation, usage, troubleshooting) via email, phone, video, and remote access tools. * **RMA Management:** Handle RMA/DOA requests, check products for defects, repair and return items, and update customers. * **Inventory:** Maintain accurate records of spare parts and place weekly orders with HQ. * **Trade Show Support:** Prepare, configure, and check units for trade shows, assisting with setup and teardown. * **Loan Management:** Maintain and manage loan equipment, ensuring returns are checked and refurbished as needed. **Expectations:** * Provide reliable technical support to customers. * Collaborate with internal teams for product improvements. * Resolve technical issues promptly to maintain customer satisfaction. * Adapt to evolving technologies within the industry. **Required Skills:** * Strong understanding of hardware/software integration. * Experience with debugging tools and embedded systems. * Proficiency in programming (C, C\+\+, Python). * Knowledge of communication protocols (I2C, SPI, UART, CAN, Ethernet). * Familiarity with PCB design, cloud computing, IoT, or AI is a plus. **Soft Skills:** * Excellent problem\-solving and communication skills. * Customer\-focused with a proactive approach to issue resolution. * Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. * Willingness to travel for customer support.
