If you identify with our core values, we look forward to meeting you! www.telefonicatech.com**WHAT DOES OUR TEAM DO?** Within the **AI \& Data Platforms** unit at Telefónica Tech, we develop differentiated Big Data platforms based on cloud technologies for large-scale data processing and insight generation, enabling us to play a key role in building use cases that support the services offered by Telefónica Tech. **HOW WILL YOUR DAY LOOK LIKE?** Your main mission will be to build Data Spaces platforms for different clients, participating in all stages of the lifecycle: from functional and technical definition, through design and implementation, to final validation and documentation. On a daily basis, you will primarily: * **Specify, analyze, design, and model Data Spaces platforms**, closely collaborating with user experience, product (TPM), and client teams to deliver solutions aligned with their needs. * **Develop backend components**, such as APIs and connectors, and provide technical support during platform integration and deployment. * **Create and maintain clear, structured, and useful technical documentation**, both for internal use and to facilitate interoperability with other nodes in the data ecosystem. * **Validate platforms** to ensure compliance with technical standards and applicable regulations. * **Support the organization in tracking European and national data space initiatives** (DSBA, DSSC, Gaia\-X, IDSA, FIWARE), contributing to regulatory and technical alignment of our platforms. You will occasionally participate in working groups or strategic forums, aiming to transfer key advancements and recommendations to development and product teams. **AND FOR THIS, WE BELIEVE IT WOULD BE IDEAL IF YOU HAD…** **Experience** * 5\+ years of experience in software development or architecture, preferably in distributed and data-oriented environments. * 2\+ years of specific experience in the analysis, design, and/or implementation of data spaces. * Specific experience in: + Backend development (REST APIs, connectors, microservices). + Design and modeling of complex platforms, especially related to interoperability or shared data across organizations. + Participation in regulated projects or those governed by regulatory frameworks, particularly in the public administration sector. + Previous experience in European projects or initiatives such as Gaia\-X, IDSA, or FIWARE is highly valued. **Education** Bachelor’s degree, engineering, or equivalent in Computer Science, Telecommunications, or related field. Postgraduate education in system architecture, data management, or European technology regulation will be an advantage. **Technical Skills** We require knowledge of: * Common backend languages: Java. Knowledge of other languages such as Python or Node.js is a plus. * Frameworks/APIs: Spring Boot, FastAPI, Express, etc. * Event-driven and microservices-based architectures. * Interoperability protocols and standards: OAuth2, OpenID Connect, JSON\-LD, Linked Data, Keycloak, etc. * SQL/NoSQL databases * Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD.
