Production Line Supervisor Operator

Description

This position is part of the production team and reports directly to the plant management. The primary responsibility is to supervise and coordinate the operation of the continuous production line specialized in manufacturing gypsum boards. To achieve this, technical parameters of industrial machinery must be monitored and necessary adjustments made to optimize the process, thereby ensuring maximum efficiency. It is essential to maintain uninterrupted, smooth production and meet established volume targets. A key aspect of the role is quality management through systematic final-product inspections aligned with defined standards. This entails promptly identifying and resolving any issues on the production line, minimizing stoppages and preventing deviations from specifications. Additionally, the professional is responsible for strictly implementing Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) regulations, promoting a safety-oriented culture, and keeping the work area organized and clean. The position requires full commitment to the plant’s continuous operation, with active supervision across all shifts. The incumbent also serves as a liaison between management and the team, conveying instructions, organizing tasks, and ensuring correct execution of procedures. This role is critical to maintaining productivity, safety, and quality within a dynamic, technologically advanced industrial environment where precision and methodology are key to success. A minimum of 1–2 years’ prior experience in an operational supervisory or similar role within industrial plants or the construction sector is required. Full and immediate availability to work rotating shifts—including morning, afternoon, and night shifts—from Monday to Sunday is mandatory. Basic technical training or specific knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) is considered a strong advantage. Leadership capabilities, strong attention to detail, and practical problem-solving skills for operational issues are also required. Possession of a personal vehicle for commuting to the workplace is an absolute requirement.
