Job Summary: Administration of infrastructures and applications, covering Hardware, Communications, Operating Systems, Databases, and Software, with participation in the definition and implementation of new products. Participation in the definition and implementation of new products DESCRIPTION Administration of both Fagor Ederlan’s and Ederlan Taldea’s corporate infrastructures and applications, covering Hardware, Communications, Operating Systems, Databases, Middleware, and Application Software. Support for installation of new applications or evolution of existing ones across all administrative domains. RESPONSIBILITIES: * Administration and support of installed infrastructure: Databases (Oracle, SQL), Operating Systems (Unix, Linux, Windows Server, …), IT infrastructure components (switches, firewalls, cabling, Wi-Fi access points, printers, …) in both office and production environments, VMware virtualization platform, Citrix, * Data security and information access management: Management of connectivity and network access for Fagor Ederlan, backup and data recovery management, control of information security and confidentiality, ensuring availability of IT equipment * Participation in the definition and implementation of new products, advising development teams on the deployment of new applications or systems. * Planning of equipment and software maintenance, providing timely notification to affected development teams and/or end users. * Proposing to department management any necessary changes to adapt the information systems platform according to market technical evolution, maintaining security standards for access and data recovery at competitive costs. REQUIREMENTS * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Technical Engineering in Information Systems Administration * Knowledge and experience in Communications, switch and firewall administration, and Cybersecurity will be valued. * Advanced level of spoken and written English Willingness to work at other Fagor Ederlan plants.
