We need a KITCHEN ASSISTANT / COOK We are looking to hire an experienced, responsible, and organized kitchen assistant to support daily food preparation, kitchen service, and facility maintenance. Main responsibilities * Food preparation: Spanish omelettes, boiled potatoes and eggs, salads, pasta, dressings, and appetizers... * Preparation of sandwiches, baguettes, toast, combination plates, and other orders. * Advance food preparation and proper storage and covering. * Assistance in preparing bakery items for baking. * Daily cleaning and disinfection of kitchen, dining area, and adjacent zones. * Cleaning of tables, chairs, microwaves, cutlery, floors, mops, and utensils. * Operation and cleaning of industrial dishwashers. * Cleaning of stovetops, extraction hoods, shelves, walls, refrigerators, chests, and freezers. * Restocking of toilet paper, kitchen supplies, and necessary products. * Organization, labeling, and proper food storage. * Application of product rotation and basic organization control in refrigerated and frozen storage units. Candidate profile we seek * Prior experience as a kitchen assistant, cook, or in a similar role. * Ability to independently prepare simple dishes. * Basic knowledge of food hygiene, handling, and storage. * A clean, orderly, agile, and responsible individual. * Ability to organize tasks and maintain the work area in good condition during service. * Positive attitude for teamwork and addressing customer needs. * Availability to work Monday through Saturday, MORNING SHIFT * Food handler’s certificate is a plus. . SCHEDULE: MORNING SHIFT, MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY No public holidays worked Position type: Permanent Salary: €17,000.00–€19,000.00 per year Benefits: * Option for a permanent contract * Uniform provided Flexible language requirement: * Spanish not required Experience: * Hospitality: 1 year (Mandatory) Language: * English (Desirable) License/Certification: * Food Handler’s Certificate (Mandatory) Work location: On-site employment
