Job Summary: Bertrandt is seeking Systems Engineers to join our team and participate in challenging projects within the aerospace/defense sector, covering the entire development lifecycle. You will collaborate in modeling, simulation, and digitalization environments. **Systems Engineer \- Aerospace field** ======================================= **Work Location:** 28906, Getafe At Bertrandt, we are looking to hire **Systems Engineers** to join our team and participate in challenging projects within the **aerospace / defense** sector. You will be part of various key areas within systems engineering, covering the entire development lifecycle: **Core Systems Engineering** You will contribute to architecture definition, requirements, safety, and interface management, ensuring the system is **structured, traceable, and certifiable** from early stages. **Integration and Verification & Validation (V\&V)** You will work in the phase closest to the actual system: testing, integration, result analysis, and issue resolution in laboratory or simulation environments. **MBSE / Digital Engineering** You will collaborate in system modeling, simulation, and digitalization environments, helping anticipate issues and optimize development cycles. You will participate in activities related to specification definition, integration, and verification and validation (V\&V), supporting the development and certification of advanced systems. This is a **100% on-site opportunity in Getafe** **General Responsibilities:** * Define and manage system-level requirements and interfaces. * Participate in architecture, modeling, or MBSE activities (as per profile). * Support planning and execution of tests (V\&V). * Collaborate on system integration and issue analysis. * Prepare and review technical documentation. * Ensure compliance with certification standards and processes. * Support suppliers and internal teams. * Participate in design reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR). **Requirements** * Degree in Aerospace, Industrial, Electronics, or Systems Engineering (or equivalent). * Minimum of 4 **years** of experience in systems development, integration, or testing within the aerospace/defense environment. * General knowledge of aeronautical systems and/or communications. * Experience with tools such as **DOORS, Cameo, or similar**. * Familiarity with **Jira, Confluence, and DO\-178C / DO\-331 standards** is desirable. * Experience in **MBSE, simulation, or test automation** is advantageous. * Proactive attitude, strong analytical capability, and good communication skills. * English language proficiency at **B2 level or higher**. **About Bertrandt** An independent, international development service provider with extensive experience in the automotive industry.
