**Quality Inspector Technician** ----------------------------------- **Brief Introduction** ---------------------- Responsible for ensuring the technical conformity of raw materials, components, and finished products through systematic inspection and control. Acts as an operational liaison between production, engineering, and suppliers to ensure compliance with specifications, traceability, and documented requirements. **Main Responsibilities** ------------------------- * **Receiving inspection** of materials and components against specifications and associated documentation. * **In-process control** via defined inspection points and monitoring of critical parameters. * **Visual inspection** to detect surface defects, assembly issues, and finish quality. * **Dimensional verification** according to drawings, tolerances, and measuring instruments. * **Verification of subcontracted products and services**, and control of compliance with purchasing requirements. * **Final labeling verification**, and consistency check with product documentation and traceability records. * **Recording and reporting** of results and nonconformities; support for corrective actions. **Control and Inspections** -------------------------- * Receiving inspection: sampling, documentary verification, and conditional rejection or release of batches. * In-process control: established control points, real-time recording, and communication of deviations to production/engineering. * Visual inspection: criteria defined by inspection sheets and use of auxiliary techniques (lighting, magnifiers, cameras where applicable). * Dimensional verification: execution of measurements referenced to drawings and tolerance lists; performance of first-article and critical-batch inspections. * Verification of subcontracted products/services: technical acceptance of deliveries, verification of certificates, and conformity assessment. * Final labeling: verification of codes, batch numbers, dates, and compliance with regulatory and customer requirements. **Equipment Management and Traceability** ------------------------------------- * Management and control of measuring equipment: calibration, periodic verification, and preventive maintenance per schedule. * Control of calibration certificates and records: ensuring validity and metrological traceability. * Traceability management: recording of batches, codes, and links among raw materials, processes, and final products. **Documentation and Records** ----------------------------- * Systematic recording of inspection results in established formats (paper or electronic). * Maintenance and control of documentation: procedures, work instructions, inspection sheets, and sampling plans. * Ensuring compliance with internal procedures and applicable regulations throughout all inspection phases. **Nonconformance and Corrective Action Management** ------------------------------------------------------ * Identification and classification of nonconformities; issuance of reports and labeling/containment of affected product. * Coordination and support for corrective and preventive actions: root cause analysis, implementation of measures, and verification of effectiveness. * Monitoring of related quality indicators and timely closure of actions. **Support During Audits** ----------------------- * Preparation of evidence and documentation for internal and external audits. * Accompanying auditors, providing technical responses to findings, and supporting implementation of audit-derived actions. **Closing / CTA** ---------------- Interested candidates: submit a technical CV and a cover letter detailing experience in receiving inspection, in-process control, and dimensional verification.
