You will join a highly technical environment where quality, scalability, and intelligent system design form the foundation of everything we do. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and play a key technical leadership role. *Travel to Málaga once per month is required.* **What You’ll Do** ------------- * Design and evolve product and platform architectures, ensuring **scalability, performance, security, and maintainability**. * Define solutions based on **microservices**, APIs, and distributed systems. * Evaluate and apply **design patterns** (DDD, CQRS, Saga, Event Sourcing, etc.) and promote best practices across the entire development lifecycle. * Lead technical design, code, and architectural standard reviews. * Design data models and select appropriate technologies (SQL, NoSQL, time-series, graph, etc.). * Build and drive **CI/CD pipelines**, deployment automation, and continuous integration. * Ensure system **observability** (logging, metrics, distributed tracing, monitoring). * Integrate **Security by Design / DevSecOps** practices from the inception of each solution. * Produce architectural documentation: diagrams, logical and physical views, ADRs. * Collaborate closely with product, development, and operations teams to align architecture with the overall vision. * Guide, support, and provide technical assistance to teams to elevate their technological maturity. **What Will Make You Succeed** --------------------------- * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field. * More than **5 years of experience** in software development. * Solid experience designing **microservice**, containerized, and distributed system architectures. * In-depth knowledge of **Java or .NET**. * Mastery of concepts such as **fault tolerance, horizontal scalability, load balancing, event-driven architecture**. * Advanced familiarity with design patterns: CQRS, Saga, Event Sourcing, Factory, Adapter, Strategy, DDD, etc. * Experience with relational databases (MySQL, SQL Server) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis). * Knowledge of messaging systems such as **Kafka, RabbitMQ**. * Experience in **cloud environments**, especially Azure and GCP, and orchestration with **Kubernetes**. * Advanced use of **Docker** and CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Sonar, etc.). * Observability expertise: OpenTelemetry, ELK/EFK, etc. * Strong security knowledge: OAuth2, JWT, mTLS. * **Nice-to-Have** * Experience with mission-critical architectures or ultra-high-availability systems. * Experience mentoring technical teams. * Cloud certifications (Azure, GCP, Kubernetes, etc.). **What We Offer** ----------------- **100% Remote Work** (as required by client/project needs) **Versatile Growth:** Learn new languages and earn technical certifications through our Expleo Academy. **Time for You:** Enjoy 24 vacation days per year, plus December 24th and 31st. **Exceptional Environment:** A place where peer support is the norm and competitiveness has no place. * ️ **Connection & Well-being:** At Expleo, laughter is never in short supply—and fun is guaranteed.
