Description

The position involves comprehensive management of logistics and warehouse operations in an industrial environment. Key responsibilities include loading, unloading, and accurately placing goods received from suppliers, ensuring each item is stored in its correct location within the warehouse. It also includes detailed order preparation, involving picking tasks, working at height to access upper shelving, and strapping and stretch-wrapping pallets for proper preparation and dispatch. Safe and efficient operation of specialized logistics equipment—such as reach trucks, counterbalance forklifts, and manual pallet jacks—is required for internal material handling. Additional specific duties include cutting and coiling cable using a dedicated machine, followed by placement and storage of the resulting coils. Furthermore, the professional will directly assist customers at the warehouse counter, delivering high-quality service and resolving inquiries. Finally, general maintenance and cleaning of the work area are required, maintaining a safe, organized environment that complies with operational standards. This role is essential to the supply chain and demands a versatile, detail-oriented attitude to ensure smooth daily logistics operations, directly contributing to warehouse efficiency and end-customer satisfaction through precise inventory management. The offered salary is €20,000 gross per year. Working hours are rotating Monday to Friday, organized into two alternating shifts that change weekly. The first shift runs from 08:30 to 14:00 and from 16:00 to 18:00. The second shift runs from 08:00 to 13:30 and from 15:30 to 18:00 Monday to Thursday, with Friday afternoons off. This structure ensures fair shift distribution among the team. Residence in the southern area of Madrid is required, specifically in municipalities such as Leganés, Fuenlabrada, Getafe, Alcorcón, Móstoles, Arroyomolinos, Parla, or Humanes. A valid type B driving license and forklift operator certification are mandatory; practical, certified experience operating reach trucks is especially valued. Prior experience in customer-facing roles is considered a plus, and basic or intermediate Excel proficiency is required. The ideal candidate should be solution-oriented, versatile, eager to learn, and demonstrate proven ability to work effectively under pressure.
