Garment Handler

Description

The staff will be responsible for garment preparation and assembly operations in an industrial environment. These tasks are fundamental to the production process and require attention to detail and precision at each stage. The primary responsibility includes operating a die-cutting machine for precise cutting of patches, appliqués, or vinyls to be incorporated into garments. Subsequently, all residues generated after embroidery or die-cutting processes must be cleaned up, maintaining an organized and safe workspace. An essential part of the role is quality control, where products must be inspected to detect any embroidery defects, cutting errors, or fabric imperfections, ensuring that only items meeting established standards proceed to the next phase. Finally, the finished product must be correctly packaged and labeled, and the work area must be continuously organized to optimize efficiency and material flow. This position is critical within the textile production chain, directly contributing to the final quality of the product delivered to the customer. The environment is dynamic, and adherence to established procedures and maintaining a consistent work pace are highly valued. Workspace organization and proper handling of materials are daily priorities. The working schedule is organized in rotating shifts from Monday to Friday, covering morning shifts from 6:00 to 14:00 and afternoon shifts from 14:00 to 22:00\. The contract offered is biweekly and renewable based on production needs. A minimum of 5 months’ prior experience in similar handling or preparation tasks in an industrial environment is required. No specific academic qualification is required, but basic knowledge as a handler and understanding of production processes are necessary.
