Description

The position requires performing fine adjustment and assembly tasks on high-precision industrial equipment. Key responsibilities include reducing friction through manual scraping, polishing, precision filing, and surface grinding of contact surfaces, ensuring perfect seating between mechanical components. Alignment and calibration tasks will also be carried out using comparators on components such as shafts, bearings, gearboxes, industrial pumps, and coupling systems, guaranteeing operational accuracy of machinery. Tolerance and clearance control is a critical function, performed using feeler gauges, calipers, and other measuring instruments to verify dimensions and mechanical interferences according to technical specifications. Fine assembly and mounting of components such as gearboxes, plain bearings, and valves require applying exact tightening torque and optimal lubrication to ensure durable equipment operation. During scheduled production shutdowns, diagnostics are conducted to identify wear, overheating, abnormal noise, or vibrations potentially resulting from misalignment or excessive friction between parts. This role is essential for maintaining machinery integrity and efficiency in a demanding industrial environment where precision and reliability are indispensable for uninterrupted operations. The work demands constant concentration and a meticulous methodology, following established protocols and documenting all interventions to ensure maintenance traceability. The offered contract is permanent from the first day of employment. Working hours are continuous annual, Monday to Friday, from 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Overtime work is possible and will be compensated in accordance with current legislation. The workplace is located within the industrial area of the town. A minimum qualification of a Medium-Level Vocational Training Cycle in Electromechanical Maintenance, Machining, or an equivalent qualification in mechanical manufacturing is required. A minimum of three years’ experience working as a mechanical fitter or in heavy industrial maintenance is mandatory. Technical knowledge must include demonstrable proficiency in metrology, use of comparators, feeler gauges, fine-adjustment tools, and assembly of mechanical transmission components.
